A top price for Joan Blaeu - as previously expected

The result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 7,904.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, From: Atlas Maior (9). is the most expensive artwork by Joan Blaeu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2013 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit From: Atlas Maior (9). von Joan Blaeu zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 7.904,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 70.000,00 – 90.000,00.
