In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work A pheasant sold for DKK 8,000.00 (€ 6,991.78) - well above the upper estimate of DKK 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joachim Frederik Skovgaard; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A youth holding a branch, to the left two flying doves sold at auction in January 2024 with the realized price of DKK 9,500.00 (€ 8,302.74).
