Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,73) und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joachim Frederik Skovgaard erzielen.
