Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A pheasant on the edge of a forest by Jo Schrijnder was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. The price achieved of EUR 940.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jo Schrijnder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ducks in flight, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 6,462.50 (€ 2,827.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A pheasant on the edge of a forest von Jo Schrijnder wurde im Januar 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 940,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jo Schrijnder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ducks in flight beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 6.462,50 (€ 2.827,86) versteigert wurde.
