Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ducks taking off by Jo Schrijnder was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,320.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jo Schrijnder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ducks in flight, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 6,462.50 (€ 2,827.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ducks taking off von Jo Schrijnder kam im September 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.320,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jo Schrijnder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ducks in flight beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 6.462,50 (€ 2.827,86) versteigert wurde.
