Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work De Steeg by Jo Schrijnder. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,320.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jo Schrijnder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ducks in flight, which sold at auction in January 2001 for NLG 6,462.50 (€ 2,827.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit De Steeg von Jo Schrijnder zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.320,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jo Schrijnder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ducks in flight beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für NLG 6.462,50 (€ 2.827,86) versteigert wurde.
