Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction From the Olbricht Collection - Part III | ONLINE ONLY, which included this untitled work by Jo Schöpfer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 155.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jo Schöpfer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June last year with an auction result of EUR 7,260.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion From the Olbricht Collection - Part III | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jo Schöpfer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 155,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jo Schöpfer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.260,00.
