In December 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Lady Blue Eyes: Property of Barbara and Frank Sinatra, which included the work Frank Sinatra by Jo Davidson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,820.18), 61% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Frank Sinatra the most expensive artwork by Jo Davidson that we have observed at auctions so far.
