Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ship offloading into Barges, Upper Pool, London by Jim Page-Roberts was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in December 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,497.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jim Page-Roberts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shed, Chelsea Football Ground in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 33,600.00 (€ 49,866.61).

Die Arbeit Ship offloading into Barges, Upper Pool, London von Jim Page-Roberts wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.497,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
