Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Jim Hodges was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,213.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jim Hodges achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When We Stay in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,609,772.94).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jim Hodges kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.213,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jim Hodges erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit When We Stay im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.098.500,00 (€ 1.609.772,94).
