Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Brother Fireman, from "Firehouse" by Jill Freedman. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,284.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Jill Freedman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Blondie Warhol, Studio 54 was auctioned for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,916.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brother Fireman, from "Firehouse" von Jill Freedman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.284,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jill Freedman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Blondie Warhol, Studio 54 für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.916,53) versteigert.
