This artwork by Jiang Zhongzheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Portrait Of Jiang Zhongzheng sold for HKD 43,700.00 (€ 4,499.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jiang Zhongzheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Letters in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 39,883.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Zhongzheng erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of Jiang Zhongzheng für HKD 43.700,00 (€ 4.499,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiang Zhongzheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Letters im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 39.883,40).
