This artwork by Jiang Zhongzheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2018. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy "Strive" sold for USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,350.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jiang Zhongzheng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Letters sold at auction in April 2016 with the realized price of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 39,883.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Zhongzheng erzielte im März 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy "Strive" für USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.350,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jiang Zhongzheng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Letters im April 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 39.883,40).
