Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Jiang Zhongzheng was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 57,500.00 (€ 5,347.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jiang Zhongzheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Letters in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 39,883.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Jiang Zhongzheng kam im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 57.500,00 (€ 5.347,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiang Zhongzheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Letters im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 39.883,40).
