Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, which included the work Lotus by Jiang Tingxi. The price achieved of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 17,254.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Tingxi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Cabbage in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 23,640,000.00 (€ 2,235,747.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus von Jiang Tingxi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 17.254,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Tingxi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Cabbage im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.640.000,00 (€ 2.235.747,80).
