Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 POLY held the auction The Joy of Autumn – Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy (I), which included the work Flower and Bird Painted By Fingers by Jiang Tingxi. The price achieved of HKD 7,080.00 (€ 784.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Tingxi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Cabbage in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 23,640,000.00 (€ 2,235,747.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte POLY die Auktion The Joy of Autumn – Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy (I) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower and Bird Painted By Fingers von Jiang Tingxi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.080,00 (€ 784,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Tingxi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Cabbage im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.640.000,00 (€ 2.235.747,80).
