Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower And Birds by Jiang Tingxi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,609.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Tingxi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Cabbage in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 23,640,000.00 (€ 2,235,747.80).

Die Arbeit Flower And Birds von Jiang Tingxi kam im März 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.609,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Tingxi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Cabbage im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.640.000,00 (€ 2.235.747,80).
