This artwork by Jiang Tingxi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Birds On A Maple Tree sold for USD 81,250.00 (€ 58,975.10) - well above the upper estimate of USD 28,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Tingxi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Cabbage in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 23,640,000.00 (€ 2,235,747.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Tingxi erzielte im März 2014 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Birds On A Maple Tree für USD 81.250,00 (€ 58.975,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 28.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Tingxi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Cabbage im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.640.000,00 (€ 2.235.747,80).
