Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds And Flowers, After Yuan Dynasty Masters by Jiang Tingxi was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 118,750.00 (€ 94,037.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Tingxi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Cabbage in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 23,640,000.00 (€ 2,235,747.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds And Flowers, After Yuan Dynasty Masters von Jiang Tingxi wurde im September 2014 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 94.037,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Tingxi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Cabbage im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.640.000,00 (€ 2.235.747,80).
