Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Que achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Plum Blossom/Calligraphy sold for HKD 35,000 (€ 3,318) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000. Admittedly, works by Jiang Que have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 271,500 (€ 24,208).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Que erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Plum Blossom/Calligraphy für HKD 35.000 (€ 3.318) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiang Que auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 271.500 (€ 24.208).
