Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape Of Nanjing After Wang Shizhen'S Poem by Jiang Que. The price achieved of HKD 81,250 (€ 9,149) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 70,000 - 90,000. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jiang Que - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 271,500 (€ 24,208).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape Of Nanjing After Wang Shizhen'S Poem von Jiang Que zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250 (€ 9.149) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000 – 90.000 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jiang Que mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 271.500 (€ 24.208) versteigert wurde.
