Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jiang Que achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu sold for HKD 150,000 (€ 15,443) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jiang Que; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of HKD 271,500 (€ 24,208).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Que erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu für HKD 150.000 (€ 15.443) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jiang Que; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 271.500 (€ 24.208).
