Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Surrounded By Flowers by Jiang Guofang for USD 43,000.00 (€ 30,241.23). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia: China, Korea, Japan at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Guofang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Surrounded By Flowers von Jiang Guofang für USD 43.000,00 (€ 30.241,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: China, Korea, Japan bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Guofang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60).
