Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Forbidden City In Silence by Jiang Guofang was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 596,000.00 (€ 59,333.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Guofang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Forbidden City In Silence von Jiang Guofang wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 596.000,00 (€ 59.333,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Guofang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60).
