Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year POLY held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings, which included the work Wandering in Moonlight by Jia Youfu. The price achieved of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 37,340.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jia Youfu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunglow Over The Land in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,336,400.00 (€ 270,019.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wandering in Moonlight von Jia Youfu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 37.340,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jia Youfu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunglow Over The Land im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.336.400,00 (€ 270.019,35).
