The work Scholars Drinking by Jia Youfu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. It achieved a price of HKD 93,600.00 (€ 11,994.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Youfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunglow Over The Land in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,336,400.00 (€ 270,019.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholars Drinking von Jia Youfu wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 93.600,00 (€ 11.994,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Youfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunglow Over The Land im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.336.400,00 (€ 270.019,35).
