A top price for Ji Kang
This artwork by Ji Kang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Peonies sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,869.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. This high result makes Peonies the most expensive artwork by Ji Kang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ji Kang erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Peonies für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.869,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Peonies zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Ji Kang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
