Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady Leaning On The Branch by Ji Kang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 9,600.00 (€ 9,803.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ji Kang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Peonies was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,869.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady Leaning On The Branch von Ji Kang wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 9.600,00 (€ 9.803,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Ji Kang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2014 die Arbeit Peonies für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.869,11) versteigert.
