Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Motherhood by Jewad Selim was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 765.00 (€ 914.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jewad Selim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Good and Evil, An Abstraction in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 838,750.00 (€ 984,771.42).
