Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Permutation - 1978 by Jesús Rafael Soto was sold in the Limited Edition auction at Artcurial in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 2,624.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jesús Rafael Soto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vibración Blanca in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,035,000.00 (€ 886,889.46).

Die Arbeit Permutation - 1978 von Jesús Rafael Soto wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Limited Edition bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.624,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jesús Rafael Soto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vibración Blanca im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.035.000,00 (€ 886.889,46).
