Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Merry Go Round by Jessica Jackson Hutchins for USD 500.00 (€ 425.79). This price was achieved in the auction First Open at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jessica Jackson Hutchins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couch For A Long Time in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,888.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Merry Go Round von Jessica Jackson Hutchins für USD 500,00 (€ 425,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jessica Jackson Hutchins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couch For A Long Time im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.888,07).
