Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, Including the Collection of George S. Parker II from the Caxambas Foundation, which included the work The End Of The Street by Jerome Myers. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,561.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jerome Myers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Playground in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 30,550.00 (€ 36,000.47).
