In December 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde, which included the work Dutch De Randen Van De Stad by Jeroen Henneman. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Dutch De Randen Van De Stad is even the most expensive work of art by Jeroen Henneman that we have observed at auctions so far.
