Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
The work Astro Clouds by Jerkface was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in September 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 11,970.00 (€ 1,317.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jerkface achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homerbob Wave (Variant) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 122,237.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Astro Clouds von Jerkface kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 11.970,00 (€ 1.317,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jerkface erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homerbob Wave (Variant) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 122.237,12).
