Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Altarpiece by Jens Adolf Jerichau for DKK 18,000.00 (€ 2,414.67). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jens Adolf Jerichau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Susanna for det tænkte Råd” (Susanna and the Elders), c in March this year with an auction result of DKK 95,000.00 (€ 12,748.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Altarpiece von Jens Adolf Jerichau für DKK 18.000,00 (€ 2.414,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jens Adolf Jerichau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Susanna for det tænkte Råd” (Susanna and the Elders), c im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 95.000,00 (€ 12.748,80).
