Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ventura by Jenny Gage was auctioned at Sothebys in London in August 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 882.00 (€ 988.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jenny Gage have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2013 the work Ventura (Camp Fire) was auctioned for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,950.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ventura von Jenny Gage kam im August 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 882,00 (€ 988,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jenny Gage konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2013 die Arbeit Ventura (Camp Fire) für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.950,69) versteigert.
