This artwork by Jenna Gribbon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Limpid pools like me sold for GBP 239,400.00 (€ 278,620.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jenna Gribbon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Regarding Me Regarding You and Me sold at auction in November this year with the realized price of USD 478,800.00 (€ 438,943.89).
