The work Les Talons by Jef Verheyen was sold in the From Magritte to Zao Wou-Ki auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2018. It achieved a price of EUR 75,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jef Verheyen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Essentie Ii (Essence Ii), which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 162,500.00.

Die Arbeit Les Talons von Jef Verheyen wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion From Magritte to Zao Wou-Ki bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 75.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Jef Verheyen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Essentie Ii (Essence Ii) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 162.500,00 versteigert wurde.
