Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Portrait of a Young Woman, 1975 by Jeanloup Sieff. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeanloup Sieff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yves Saint Laurent, Paris, 1971 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 39,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a Young Woman, 1975 von Jeanloup Sieff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeanloup Sieff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yves Saint Laurent, Paris, 1971 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.400,00.
