Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Tinguely achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. In the Pierre Boulez Collection auction, the work Sans titre - circa 1979-83 sold for EUR 78,720.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Tinguely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Métamatic No. 7 in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,333,083.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Tinguely erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pierre Boulez Collection wurde die Arbeit Sans titre - circa 1979-83 für EUR 78.720,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Tinguely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Métamatic No. 7 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.333.083,94).
