Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rythmes aériens (Méta-matic n°7) by Jean Tinguely was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. It achieved a price of EUR 832.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Tinguely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Métamatic No. 7 in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,333,083.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rythmes aériens (Méta-matic n°7) von Jean Tinguely kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 832,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Tinguely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Métamatic No. 7 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.333.083,94).
