Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Pierre Boulez Collection, which included the work Chaos et Meta-Chaos - circa 1970 by Jean Tinguely. The price achieved of EUR 459.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Tinguely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Métamatic No. 7 in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,049,250.00 (€ 1,333,083.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Pierre Boulez Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chaos et Meta-Chaos - circa 1970 von Jean Tinguely zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 459,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Tinguely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Métamatic No. 7 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.049.250,00 (€ 1.333.083,94).
