This artwork by Jean Piaubert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October 2012. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Couleurs, 1960 sold for EUR 4,247.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean Piaubert; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Genese I, Le Temps Du Soir, 1987 sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of EUR 4,541.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Piaubert erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Couleurs, 1960 für EUR 4.247,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jean Piaubert; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Genese I, Le Temps Du Soir, 1987 im Oktober 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.541,00.
