Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 1,443.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Paul Riopelle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 4,882,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Mouches à Marier n° 6 - 1985 von Jean-Paul Riopelle kam im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.443,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Paul Riopelle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.882.500,00.
