Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Study For The Central Figure In The Ceiling Of The Palais De La Legion D'Honneur by Jean-Paul Laurens for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,674.75). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean-Paul Laurens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vive Le Roi in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 15,054.66).

Im Juni 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study For The Central Figure In The Ceiling Of The Palais De La Legion D'Honneur von Jean-Paul Laurens für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.674,75) erwerben.
