Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Miotte achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in June last year. In the Art Contemporain Day Auction auction, the work without title sold for EUR 8,820.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Miotte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 51,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Miotte erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 8.820,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Miotte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.240,00.
