Upper estimate price exceeded by 39 %.
In June last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Jean Miotte. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,930.00 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean Miotte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 51,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jean Miotte zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Miotte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.240,00.
