This artwork by Jean-Michel Atlan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Royaume sold for GBP 37,800.00 (€ 43,992.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Michel Atlan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aboda Zara in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 249,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Michel Atlan erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Royaume für GBP 37.800,00 (€ 43.992,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Atlan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aboda Zara im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 249.000,00.
