Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Messagier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in February this year. In the Prints & Multiples Online auction, the work Les oublieurs d'hiver - 1967 sold for EUR 590.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Messagier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Labours à ciel in June last year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Messagier erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online wurde die Arbeit Les oublieurs d'hiver - 1967 für EUR 590,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Messagier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Labours à ciel im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
