Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Desert Scene by Jean Mannheim for USD 701.25 (€ 661.43). This price was achieved in the auction Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Mannheim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dairy Farm in the Arroyo Seco in November 2002 with an auction result of USD 11,950.00 (€ 12,031.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Desert Scene von Jean Mannheim für USD 701,25 (€ 661,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Mannheim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dairy Farm in the Arroyo Seco im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.950,00 (€ 12.031,82).
